Well, the Bible says seventh day, so that sounds like Saturday. BUT the Christians and Catholics take Sunday off for the Sabbath. So why do they worship on Sunday instead of Saturday? Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Yahushua or His disciples celebrated the Sabbath on Sunday.

  1. I don’t know who chnaged it but does it really matter whether it is Saturday or Sunday. Some people like Doctors,Nurses, Police etc often have to work the weekends so they need to have Sabbath on a day during week.

  2. I started taking Saturday off when I was in college. I am in no way legalistic about the Sabbath, but I like taking Saturday. I don’t pay bills on that day or do any kind of work like that, but I will always help someone and serve the Lord no matter what day it is. God bless brother! It is wise to take a day of rest, we need it!

  3. 🦋My son once worked with emergency services. He worked Firday to Wednesday – long hours too, so his rest day was Thursday. He changed his day of worship to Thursdays.

I think the important thing is that we do keep a day for the Sabbath.

    My 2 cents worth. 😉
