Responding to EVERY verse cited by infernalists and annihilationists

Yet Another Christian Universalist

For to this end we toil and struggle, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. These are the things you must insist on and teach.

1 Timothy 4:10-11

My article Why universalism? (Short introduction) makes the case for universal salvation by a combination of Scripture and philosophical arguments. However, there are some people who think philosophy to be a fool’s errand and only care what Scripture says. So, this post will be entirely focused on Scripture, which may serve as a better essay on the topic for evangelical Christians and others. Please read the whole thing, even if you disagree with an assertion here or there, because I hope you will see a coherent view of the entirety of Scripture with all of the following kept in mind.

The mention of my late father brought back memories.

J-M's History Corner

G’day, and welcome to another installment of the Restored English Translation (RET) of the Bible, which I am working on.  Today, I present Beresheet (Genesis) chapter 20.  As usual, it contains the Hebrew names, with a glossary of them afterwards.  At the very end is a list of where the Aleph Tavs occur, as they are no longer included in the main text.

(P.S. Please pray for my dad, Merv, who recently had a stroke and is very sick.)
